Discussion[edit]

Far more solid sources, documents, and pictures need to be collected to establish and compile information on this page--Phillipcolepc1 (talk) 22:17, 1 April 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Clearly, the page needs a lot of work, but how are we going to divvy up the work?Juliagrim (talk) 14:40, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Juliagrim[reply]

i suggest that we all give our direct emails because it is hard to keep up with the pb works updates and the talk page as well. I have listed my direct email on our collaboration page Tameika05 (talk) 15:42, 31 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tameika05 (talkcontribs) 15:40, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was able to find one good reference to panama and abortion. This reference shows the time sentenced for conducting/participating and illegal abortion. Other than that I am having a hard time finding sources on why abortion is illegal. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the religious beliefs of Panamanians. So Panama's religious beliefs are mostly Roman Catholic and the "black" Panamanians are also protestant. I did some research and found that Roman Catholics believe abortion is murder, which may be the reason it is illegal to have an abortion unless raped or yout health is in danger tameika05 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tameika05 (talkcontribs) 17:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OKay so all the work we'd completed on this page has been reversed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tameika05 (talk) 00:15, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Tameika05[reply]

Currently working on the structure of the site.--Phillipcolepc1 (talk) 01:44, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That really sucks, I'm currently setting up the structure. It sucks because there isn't an easy way to set up the sections. I'm just creating the sections so hopefully we can just pic and choose what information goes where. If you need a section created just let me know guys and I'll set it up. I'll be on this tonight for a while, so, let me know.--Phillipcolepc1 (talk) 02:13, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I created some sub catagories: History,Access to Abortion cites, and Legality. These captions were added in an atempt to begin to fix the structure of the article. The content guide was also created making the cite far more navagation friendly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Phillipcolepc1 (talkcontribs) 02:29, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I went in and added the information that had been erased, this time i just left out the external links that wikipedia reversed. hopefully this wont get erased again. Tameika05 (talk) 15:58, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Tameika05[reply]

I was able to add some inline citations to the work, and added additional references.Tameika05 (talk) 16:45, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Tameika05[reply]

I may have messed up someone's edit just a bit ago - if someone was on here, we may have tried to save at the same time-ish. I saved what was on the edit conflict page and emailed it to both of you. I'm going to try to add my edits again.67.220.2.194 (talk) 17:22, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Juliagrim[reply]

julia i was able to put the citation back in the appropriate place. no harm done Tameika05 (talk) 18:29, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Tameiak05[reply]

I'm wondering if we should keep the section "Availability of Abortion facilities" on the page. I was looking for sources last night but came up empty. Also, have we been able to work out anything for the history section? Obviously we've been looking like crazy, and the most we have is already in the general information section...should we consider removing it as a sub-section? Hust a few thoughts...67.220.2.194 (talk) 01:43, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Juliagrim[reply]

I'll add some history information tomorrow.

Added some more information to the history section and cited from to sources.--Phillipcolepc1 (talk) 16:18, 12 April 2010 (UTC)--Phillipcolepc1 (talk) 16:18, 12 April 2010 (UTC) Added more information on the main article page.--Phillipcolepc1 (talk) 16:18, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

its looking good guys!! The article has completely transformed! Tameika05 (talk) 02:03, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Tameika05[reply]

Two of the sites I found were only used to determine what one might consider either natural or modern methods of contraception, even thought their titles have no reference to Panama.Juliagrim (talk) 03:45, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Juliagrim[reply]
