Difference between Active Yaw Control and Torque vectoring & merge proposal[edit]

What is the difference between Active Yaw Control and Torque vectoring?--Arado (talk) 12:08, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

yes this article should be merged into torque vectoring, it is a subset of torque vectoring Greglocock (talk) 22:50, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed! Both terms describe the same technology, although implementations vary slightly between manufacturers. Also noteworthy: the phrase "Active Yaw Control" may not be trademarked, but it might as well be. Mitsubishi is the only company to use the phrase AWC, and everyone else either has their own trademarked name (or simply calls it torque vectoring).
