The real advocacy in terms of intellectuality[edit]

Given a section on this article, "The real advocacy in terms of intellectuality", it is now proven that Jonathanfu fails to understand what he's "discussing" by this link, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:LFOlsnes-Lea#Your_recent_edits_to_Advocacy_of_suicide_and_Assisted_suicide , where he clearly mixes sides and end up misinterpretating what "Advocacy of suicide" is supposed to imply here, that this article is about advocacy pro suicide, and not con as he seems to "pervert" the whole thing into. So this time, I hope you understand that WP:VAN lies NOW wholly on Jonathanfu. As the case is clear, please...! --LFOlsnes-Lea 12:08, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Objection goes to User:Bilby too. Also, this user now possibly also carries the responsibility of (blatant) wrongdoing, in doing something this user has no clue to the extent of, i.e., the role of the academia. This user obviously sides with Jonathanfu. --LFOlsnes-Lea 12:42, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dropped in a talk-page {{TOC center}} .... Feel free to reposition[edit]

I was about to add a section, so a TOC made sense. Feel free to reposition/realign.Tgm1024 (talk) 16:44, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reference to Ozzy in 2nd paragraph feels like a non sequitur.[edit]

It just seems jarringly out of place for a wikipedian introduction. Can we move it to a new section for such things?Tgm1024 (talk) 16:49, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Needs a TOTAL Overhaul[edit]

There is so much left out of this page and it seems most of the page is biased. The majority of what is said here is in reference to people who seemingly bully or encourage others into suicide rather than people who help those who are determined to suicide (say Jack Kevorkian for instance). Also, there's a lot of other aspects not mentioned, like philosophical justifications or advocacy (Arthur Schopenhauer, David Hume, Friedrich Nietzsche, et al). It just seems VERY one-sided and, relative to how much more information there is on the subject, a stub. The fact that this article isn't even flagged kind of bothers me... Sanctioned Suicide[edit]

I've added a section at sodium nitrite#Suicide citing an NYT article about Sanctioned Suicide. There are several others news sites with stories about it. I don't have the energy to try extracting that content or decide where to put it, but this may be one such page. Sai ¿? 00:03, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
