I've taken the existing external links out for now since they are either unspecific, already linked within Wikipedia or commercial. See external links policy. There remains a lot of unsourced material, such as critical appraisal, which needs referencing, so I've tagged this. For guidance, see citation guidelines. Wording such as "the daughter of a famed Texas joke-teller and part-time actor" could be tidied- if he's famous, he should have a Wiki entry, of a Google reference. Certainly a name.
