sourcing disagreement[edit]

IP and @Semsûrî, please discuss. —valereee (talk) 14:14, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I need to know what it is that makes the Fattah reference unreliable? It is indeed one of the best literature works we have on this subject, so please enlighten me, @37.238.22.22:@37.238.22.23:
@Valereee: Until the IP has explained, I do believe the page should be returned to the earlier version[1].--Semsûrî (talk) 14:23, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ali Al-Gharbi was not 90% kurdish[edit]

source claims that 90% of the town's population are Kurds!!! first off they are not kurds at all they are in fact shia lurs

https://books.google.iq/books?id=Z4QYAQAAMAAJ&dq=Ali%20Al-Gharbi&pg=PA67#v=onepage&q&f=false

I attached a link from an old book dating back to the beginning of the 20s century provides most of town inhabitants are Arabs with a few number of Kurds

there is no proof that the town is kurdish or inhabited by kurds at all, if there are please submit it, even the name is purely Arabic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.238.22.4 (talk) 16:43, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You just removed the reference, lol. Did you even read your own reference? It clearly states: ... Ali al-Gharbi are the principal seats of the trade with Southern Kurdistan; hereabouts many Kurds are settled... This is ridiculous and the current version of the page needs to be reverted. --Semsûrî (talk) 22:40, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
