Ardengo Soffici's Involvement with Fascism[edit]

This article needs to include Ardengo Soffici's involvement with Fascism in Italy including his work for the government.

In 1925, he signed the 'Manifesto degli intellettuali fascisti' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manifesto_of_the_Fascist_Intellectuals) in support of the regime and in 1938, he signed on to support Italy's racial laws. When Mussolini was overthrown in Italy, he pledged loyalty to the Italian Social Republic -- a German puppet state -- with Mussolini as its head. He was a cofounder of 'Italia e Civilta' -- a war magazine that supported patriotism, support of Germany, and loyalty to the principles of Fascism.

Any article on Soffici needs to include his involvement with the Fascist movement. The Italian Wikipedia article covers this involvement: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ardengo_Soffici — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.126.70.32 (talk) 02:09, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Without that it looks like a whitewash. Pelarmian (talk) 14:07, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
