First of all , i don`t seem any reason for the page to get deleated. As of ur statement It doesn`t indicate how or why the subject is important or significant .If this is the reason.

My explanation is:: B.N.Reddy National Award was instituted very recently and only one award was given yet.that is the reason why the page is so small.Most of the people are not still aware of the award. it might become the NO.1 award after some years WHO KNOWS ? Deleting the page only reduces the number of people who are going to have the knowledge of it.

let us imagine If the Noble prize was instituted last year.the wikipage of Noble prize and this wikipage would be of same size and would look similar .

i think Gaining and Distributing Knowledge are main aspects of Wikipedia.NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR BIG IT IS ,,
