Grave[edit]

A check with his CWGC Casualty Record reveals he has no known grave, so the memorial in Northern Ireland cannot possibly be marking his grave. He is consequently commemorated on Face 1 of the Rangoon Memorial dedicated to those who died in Burma and have no known graves. (Due to jungle growth and disruption caused by insurgency, many initial graves dug after the death of casualties were lost.) It was not policy to repatriate bodies of British servicemen killed in action abroad during hostilities.Cloptonson (talk) 22:11, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am amending the reference to his memorial to reflect his 'no known grave' status.Cloptonson (talk) 19:50, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
