What is it now

[edit]

As all the points listed have been replaced or abolished by the EU, what did the new 2002 convention actually contain? And how does that relate to the Benelux and the EU?- J Logan t: 22:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Check the math

[edit]

"The original treaty lasted for fifty years, expiring in 1972; this was extended for ten years in 1982 and again in 1992. On 18 December 2002, the two countries and the three regions of Belgium signed a new convention." What about the ten years between 1972 and 1982? According to this the treaty expired in 1972 and then 10 years later was extended from 1982 to 1992 and again from 1992 to 2002 before being replaced by a new convention in 2002. How could it have been extended in 1982 when it had supposedly expired ten years earlier? --Khajidha (talk) 00:44, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
