What does mean Belle?[edit]

Hello, do everyone know what does mean Belle? Is it an acronym and if it is, what does mean every letter? Thanks. Pamputt (talk) 12:38, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Belle is not an acronym. It is the French word for beauty. Belle predominantly studies physics related to the b quark. Although we now usually call this the bottom quark, it is sometimes referred to as the beauty quark. --PsiStarPsi (talk) 01:28, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Update needed[edit]

Article currently reads in part anticipated to start operation in 2018. Unless we can enlist the services of Dr Who this anticipation is on shaky grounds. (;-> Andrewa (talk) 17:11, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
