Name of article[edit]

I returned the article to just "Berwick, Maine". As in New Hampshire, virtually no one is even aware of the census-designated place which represents the built-up center of town. When referring to "Berwick, Maine", people mean the entire town. It's just unnecessary to make the additional distinction of "(town)". This was done for Bar Harbor, Maine, last year, and there's been no problem with it. --Ken Gallager (talk) 14:34, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In my Geneological searches I determined Berwick was where my great great??? grandfather was born in 1800..... through the Mormon library I acquired access to the town clerks book from about year 1699.... one treasure I found was sketches of the town from 1699 that I have on my site http://intlmerch.tripod.com see Brackett geneaology.... you might want to include these sketches or some of my notes on Berwick from that era in the Berwick site .
