That nasal pig-snort thing[edit]
The, erm, "nasal-ingressive voiceless velar trill"? Yeah, pretty sure that's not a thing, it was a joke that someone wrote about on a site in a joking article. If we're taking that at face value, we need to also list the "Nasal-ingressive voiceless uvular trill" as a sound represented by the "decuple-struck Z," which I'm not prepared to do. Even if we were to somehow allow it, though, it still wouldn't belong here. Per the SpecGram source: "Trey Jones described the nasal-ingressive voiceless velar trill as such and created the double-dot wide O as a prank on his fellow grad students." So it seems entirely coincidental that Jones's letter, made to resemble a pig snout, happens to also look similar to the historical Binocular O.
It's probably not worth keeping at all, in my opinion, but I'm at least going to rewrite to clarify the above circumstances. Etymographer (talk) 18:24, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
