Use of the terms His Grace, Their Grace, His Holiness, etc. Is non-encyclopedic and such terms are not in use in articles dealing with other religious figures. For anybody who comes here for guidance, guideline WP:NCCL says very clearly "Honorifics such as "His Holiness" should ordinarily not be used in naming clergy". (Similar guidelines hold for monarchs, aristocrats, diplomats, etc.) Pol098 (talk) 22:24, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Correct, name is Angaelos and title after ordination is Archbishop Angaelos and not Anba Angaelos

Article name change[edit]

This article's name should be changed, following guideline WP:NCCL, from "Bishop Angaelos" to "Anba Angaelos". This is very much the usual usage, in addition to being covered by a guideline; e.g. the (Anglican) Archbishop of Canterbury's article is Justin Welby. Major style and content issues[edit]

The introductory paragraphs are excessively laudatory and not particularly encyclopaedic. Further, honorifics (His Grace), are used throughout, not conforming to style. Resumé tag removed[edit]

I've removed a good deal of copyrighted materia, especially this praiseful text, so I think the "written like a resumé" tag is no longer needed. I believe the removals also address the various complaints above that the text is "excessively laudatory". It's no wonder it was, when so much of it was from (and not just sourced to) the subject's own website. Bishonen | talk 07:07, 21 May 2018 (UTC).[reply]
