Music Video

Towards the end of the filmclip there is a cut to a scene (like from a movie) where there is samples of people yelling and talking in conversation with lines like "you're so up!"...what is this from? --Mikecraig 02:40, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

I'll put this comment here, since the header works. The male does not say "...you're a real 'up' person". He says "...you're a real [expletive deleted]-up person". There isn't really a way for WP to express that, though. But there is obviously a blank silence where a word would be before the word "up". Huw Powell (talk) 08:34, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

Jewel

I agree. They video I saw of the song on YouTube that was supposed to be by Jewel, was a slideshow of pictures of Jewel set to the Frente! recording of the song. -- Foetusized (talk) 14:25, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

initially not a hit but a lot of people remember the song

Im not sure why but this song was not a hit in the USA when it was first released 1986.

It was played by MTV and a few radio stations back then but never reached the hot 100 and even not the bubbling under hot 100 (places 101- 125)

meaning it was a flop.

But a lot of people in the US i know for example several uncles and aunts who are in their 40s and living in several areas of the USA know this song well and it reminds them of their childhood or teeange time

And in a lot of movies and cartoons for example THE SIMPSONS the song was parodied in at least 2 episodes with flashback and retro-moments

Like in a lof of drama-high school movies and comedy movies

it was played in the background
