Revision and sources for article[edit]

Hi, User:Gudnykb, please don't blank the article in despair. And yes I do understand you did not like the revision, it is ok not to be happy about everything, but even so please do not remove the text. Mr Stefansson is in my opinion notable enough to have an article on Wikipedia, but not one without sources. He deserves a sourced one. I have searched the Norwegian library service Bokhylla (nb.no) for books mentioning him, and finally found some material even though the book was not new. Since I right now am working on both the Norwegian version (which was saved from deletion due to sources being found) and the English version (being a translation) comes after having found material for the Norwegian version. Stefansson could well be mentioned in more books or newspapers than I have been able to locate, but maybe as Björn Stefánsson and since this is not a very unique name I would apreciate it very much if you know of books or newspapers where he have been called just Björn Stefánsson and not Björn S. Stefánsson. The article would benefit from some newer sources.

The bibliography is now based on what I could find in the Norwegian national library catalogue service Bibsys and at WorldCat, both good sources for books and reports whith a proper publisher behind them. In addition I have added all articles I could find with the library service of the University Library of Oslo which should mean that I have found basically scientific articles by Stefansson. I have also found some cases of newspaper articles, but I do think the bibliography should not include what he might have written in newspapers or on the internet.

On Norwegian WP it has been suggestet that maybe the biography could include someting about his theory Sequential Choice and Fund Voting since that article was deleted in Norwegian due to Norwegian WP thinking the book about «radvalg» and «fondsvalg» did not deserve an article. I might at a later stage look into the matter and if warranted might do a little bit of work on that angle. But I won't promise anything very soon. As you can see the English article about Sequential Choice and Fund Voting has multiple issues. --Dyveldi ☯ prattle ✉ post 18:38, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
