Actually, the primary ingredient is most commonly whole wheat, although they do contain a lot of bran. Forty percent bran is considered sufficiently high content as to warrant special mention. Additionally, corn bran flakes seem also to exist. Drsruli (talk) 22:44, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
