The article says the earliest mention is Roman De Rou (1160), but it is mentioned in Bernardus Silvestri's De Mundi Universitate (1148) while listing the world's famous groves as 'Briscelim sinus Armoricus.' — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ardlien (talkcontribs) 11:44, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization and Class[edit]

This article is probably best as part of the WikiProject King Arthur project, mostly because it is a mythical place, even though the earliest mentions of Broceliande fall outside the Arthurian corpus of works. The article's quality is at start class due to inadequate references and in-line citations.

What about the weather?[edit]

I came to this article looking for information on Brocéliande (that is, I don’t know anything about it so I can not myself improve it) and one thing I notice is that the article talks about ”unusual weather conditions”, even listing texts that mention them, but nowhere does the article say what these weather conditions are —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.103.36.124 (talk) 02:41, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
