Why doesn't the article talk about her and her husband's role in the Savings and Loan Scandal?

Charles Knapp was convicted in 1993 of fraud in it.

WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS[edit]

This individual Brooke Knapp is not significant by base measures in order to qualify for this, what is clearly a vanity Wikipedia page. I personally am aware of several individuals far more distinguished, some with entries in Who's Who, inventors and authors, who have had their Wikipedia pages removed for lack of distinction.

I strongly nominate for permanent removal of this Wikipedia entry. This person is simply a realtor in Southern California. If she wants to promote herself, let her get a personal website or a MySpace page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.111.117.11 (talk) 07:13, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Simple realtors don't get their accomplishments written about in all these books and newspaper articles. Phil Bridger (talk) 12:46, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You seemed to both miss and make my point simultaneously, Phil. "All these" books and newspaper articles pale in comparison to many distinguished folks whose pages have been removed by Wikipedia. Folks with lots more books and newspaper articles. Again, I personally am aware of several individuals far more distinguished, some with entries in Who's Who, inventors and authors, who have had their Wikipedia pages removed for lack of distinction. This page should absolutely be removed, and I cannot imagine that Phil alone controls this. Wikipedia is overwhelmingly difficult to manage and is only getting more so. Garbage pages like this must go. Please chime in, community. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:7EC5:E100:64C3:E31D:44B3:FFD5 (talk) 14:41, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
