As far as the notability concern, I've added a page on COIN-OR and expanded on its notability. Among all the projects on COIN-OR, CLP has the most list subscribers and by that measure could be considered the leading projectRLougeeH 21:05, 4 January 2007 (UTC)RLougeeH[reply]

  • That doesn't mean that COIN-OR CLP is notable, however. Notability would require coverage in independent sources; cf. WP:N and WP:CORP. If COIN-OR CLP is an important project in the context of COIN-OR, then the article should best be merged there. I am re-adding the notability tag. --B. Wolterding 08:16, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger?

[edit]

As discussed on Talk:COIN-OR SYMPHONY I think the COIN-OR, COIN-OR CLP, and COIN-OR SYMPHONY articles would be best served by being merged into one (under COIN-OR). This gives editors one place to work on expanding content and references, and we can always split them back out if the respective sections get nice and big. For logistical reasons, let's centralize discussion of the merger on Talk:COIN-OR SYMPHONY. --tiny plastic Grey Knight 12:15, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
