Comments

[edit]

Perfecrly straighforward ad from Cadbury's Chocolate, even giving ingredients and telling straight facts.

In June 2006 it was reported that Freddo's caused Salmonella.

Top Deck?

[edit]

I wasn't so sure if "Top Deck" Freddos existed. I do, however, know for a fact that "Milky Top" exists as I was eating it just a few minutes ago. I assume "Top Deck" is the same as "Milky Top", since they both have the white and milk chocolate combination. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.180.210.237 (talk) 17:14, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Was sold in china

[edit]

I remember buying a box of this in China very clearly, it had a puzzle that came with it.. Relavent?

Crunchy Frog

[edit]

I wonder if this line of products inspired the Monte Python skit with the "Crunchy Frog" chocolates?

What's wrong with me saying this...?

[edit]

What is wrong with me saying that Freddos are given out after children's services at Radlett United Synagogue, they are actually. It was the only reason me and my friends would go to many of the services, and not just sneak off...--Bobofthedead 17:41, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am just passing through this article, but I would assume that the reason it was removed was not due to it being assumed to be factually incorrect, but rather that it is not notable enough for inclusion in an encyclopedia. :)--Dreaded Walrus 23:36, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Harry Melbourne...

...died in the city that has the same name as his surname. I also had no idea he was still alive until a month ago. Wikipedia should have said that he was still alive in this article before then...--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 18:40, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nanny State Comment

[edit]

I decided to delete the following paragraph...

In recent years however, due to Prohibition Laws put in place by the "nanny culture" state of Great Britain Freddo the Frog Chocolate Bars are only available in certain remote areas of the outskirts of London and Cornwall.

...as it was making a contentious political point and was also untrue, as I know for a fact that Freddo bars are freely available in the north of England. Haz bear01 (talk) 17:27, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image needs replacement

[edit]

Hello all...

An image used in the article, specifically Image:Freddo-Frogs.jpg, has a little bit of a licensing issue. The image was uploaded back when the rules around image uploading were less restrictive. It is presumed that the uploader was willing to license the picture under the GFDL license but was not clear in that regard. As such, the image, while not at risk of deletion, is likely not clearly licensed to allow for free use in any future use of this article. If anyone has an image that can replace this, or can go take one and upload it, it would be best.

You have your mission, take your camera and start clicking.--Jordan 1972 (talk) 00:31, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Freddo or Freddo Frog?

[edit]

The chocolate bar's official name is Freddo, which I believe is the more common name but I cannot verify. Can anyone do this for me? AnimatedZebra (talk) 13:19, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Controversial flavors?

[edit]

"while the more controversial flavours like fruit and nut have struggled over the years.". Why were those flavors controversial? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.235.96.140 (talk) 13:29, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
