28-70mm f/3.5-4.5[edit]

This page should really be at Canon EF 28-70mm f/2.8 L or something similar. The company also made a pair of slower (but apparently not bad) 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lenses, as detailed here at Photonotes.org. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 21:48, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

reliable source?[edit]

This page has recently been edited by IP user User:90.229.204.249. The initial edit added the sentence: "Many experts claims that this is the best lens they have ever used.". I immediately added who? and citation needed tags, as such a statement needs to be sourced for verifiability. After my edit, the user edited the sentence: "Many experts, for example Marcel Pabst [1], claims that this is "the best lens they have ever used"." . I have look everywhere on the given source, and could not find the quote stated. All I can find is sample photographs and contact info. I really think that for such a statement "Many experts" , multiple sources need to be given. Or a simple edit, that removes such a statement, should be made. So it would read Marcel Pabst [2], claims that this is "the best lens they have ever used"." . That is of course if a reliable source to such a statement can be given.
