Does this Carrock have any relation to the Carrock of Beorn in Tolkien's writings? It is well known that Tolkien drew inspiration from many places in the, ummm, West Midlands? Perhaps it's different with Lake District. Matti Nuortio, Oulu, Finland (talk) 04:26, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
