NPOV, other concerns[edit]

This article is currently highly problematic from both a NPOV and other positions. It ledes with a picture of a "dead Palestinian girl;" the graph of alleged causualties is almost impossible to figure out, leads with the worst figures, and does not seem to try to present independent information. And so on. I'm immediately NPOV tagging, and may make other changes. KenThomas (talk) 22:49, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the pictures. While it is important to put "a human face" on the horrors of war, the first photo used could not be taken as neutral; neither would just one picture be fair. KenThomas (talk) 22:59, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hamas Foreign Minister interview[edit]

The footnote #23 goes to a dead link. Google shows a number of AFP articles reprinted in various outlets, but there is no link to the actual AFP site. Shouldn't this link go to the original Al-hayat article, even if it is in Arabic? Otherwise, it looks like the English version is sourced to the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center- which doesn't sound like the most NPOV source around.
