This article may cover an important part of culinary history but it needs references. Sentences such as "cauliflower cheese probably came to be made around that time" are nothing more than conjecture without proper references. Please search google, bbc, the archives, or interview an old person about it and post it on your blog. Attempt to include accurate and reputable sources to link to from here. The paragraph giving information on how to make an alternative sauce for cauliflower is probably useful for this article, but the beginning words "superior cheese sauce" are utterly wrong for Wikipedia. I don't think having a recipe for a sauce is helpful on this page either, as the link to an external recipe suffices. Perhaps just a short paragraph about this sauce as an alternative would be the better option, or nothing at all. --Mr. Bridger 12:51, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have replaced the detailed cheese sauce recipe with a mention and link to the alternative sauce method, also corrected some inaccuracies. Just off to cook some for my tea! Jud 19:27, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
