Composer[edit]
The composer of the stage musical is, I think, Charles Strouse. At least, based on the listing on Strouse's website at [[1]] and the listing at Dramatic Publishing [Charlotte's Web]. The Sherman brothers wrote the songs in the film (Charlotte's Web (1973 film). I'll make the changes to conform to this info tomorrow (I want to do a few more searches).Flami72 (talk) 04:32, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- I note that on JUne 14, 2014, an editor properly deleted the Sherman Brothers as composers and added Charles Strouse, and again on May 13, 2015 another editor removed the Sherman Bothers,who had been added. In other words, several IPs have continued adding the incorrect names of Sherman Brothers as composers. Possible misunderstaning or vandalism??Flami72 (talk) 11:04, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- Today User talk:99.186.122.53 made the same edits as noted above--that is, deleting Strouse and adding the Sherman Brothers. I have reverted those edits here and also on the Sherman Brothers article. I regret to say that this appears to be possible vandalism; good faith is hard to assume at this point. (I note, for the record, that this latest IP geolocates to Houston, Texas; one of the other IPs (May 6 & 19, 2015), User talk:76.185.21.138, geolocates to Grand Prairie, Texas.)
