@Leitmotiv: Technically, it was "Chessex" that was a game publisher. "Chessex Manufacturing" only makes dice and other accessories. The publishing arm that was a result of the merger is a separate company "Alliance Game Distributors" S-1-5-7 (talk) 17:28, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it matters one way or the other. Both are under the umbrella Chessex. According to that one source, Chessex manufacturing came into being after. Either way, this article is about Chessex as a whole and anything regarding Chessex should be cited and included here (no need for two separate articles). While they no longer publish games, that doesn't mean they didn't publish games. Publisher is still part of their résumé. Leitmotiv (talk) 19:59, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
