Photos[edit]

Article needs a photo. I added this article to Wikipedia:Requested photos, and added a logo until such photo is contributed. Tempshill 04:58, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, same band.

Yeah why can't we just use the band logo until someone produces a photo that they have the rights to? --Suzy creamcheese (talk) 21:57, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:D.R.I. - Thrash Zone.jpg[edit]

Image:D.R.I. - Thrash Zone.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:13, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

D.R.I. have a new album out called smoke rings —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.180.47.113 (talk) 04:43, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rock Against Raygun[edit]

The text says DRI went on the Rock Against Reagan tour with the Dead Kennedys. I think it's wrong. Bands on that tour were MDC, Reagan Youth, The Dicks, and some others but I don't think the DKs took part. Saludos.--Fernando H (talk) 12:09, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The term "crossover"[edit]

The article currently states: "...they are considered the early pioneers of the sound that would later be called crossover thrash. This genre was also coined from their 1987 album Crossover." As a matter of courtesy, I have added a 'citation needed' tag to that rather than simply deleting it. But I know for a fact that thrash metal was often referred to as "crossover" well before the album existed. Druff (talk) 21:44, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

While indeed an acronym for "Dirty Rotten Imbeciles", I believe the band's official name is "D.R.I". Perhaps the title of this article should match that. Joefromrandb (talk) 11:27, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
