Deleted sources in early life section[edit]

This is a section to discuss the unknown reason for this edit, which deleted sourcing I had spent some time finding. The "biography" section also does not make sense; all of the article is the biography. Anyway, discuss. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 02:34, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately ThatMontreallP would not allow even a few minutes for another user to complete edits without seeing what the ultimate result or purpose would be. It can take a few minutes to merge sections in order to create a more effective narrative. Artslettersperson (talk) 02:47, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article is already marked as being in poor shape with respect to sources. New unsourced material should not be added; that makes a problem article even worse.
You have sources for the material you're adding? Put them in with your edits. You don't have sources for the material you're adding? Then leave that material out.
You want to spend a period drafting, with an "ultimate result", including sources, later? Please don't use the final article space for that. Use your sandbox and bring it over when it's fit for article space. Don't draft in mainspace. TJRC (talk) 04:42, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of lists[edit]

Exhibitions and collections should be condensed into narrative form and merged with the overall narrative biography. Bullet point lists are inappropriate for an encyclopedia entry. Artslettersperson (talk) 02:45, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bullet point lists are entirely fine, especially for sections with many items.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 02:48, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
