Explanation[edit]

Further history: This content was originally created as the article Deaf in January 2005, and then moved to Deafness in June 2006. In January 2008, some of the content was merged into Deaf culture with this edit. The rest of the content was intended to be merged into what was then Hearing impairment (subsequently moved to Hearing loss), but this apparently never happened. The 2005–2008 Deafness article's history was moved out of article space in December 2012 when the name was usurped by a page move.

The entire content of the 2005–2008 Deaf/Deafness article remains in the history of this page, and the final version can be seen here. The 2005–2008 Deafness talk pages are now at Talk:Deafness/Archive A (formerly at Talk:Deaf/Archive 1) and Talk:Deafness/Archive B (formerly at Talk:Deaf/Talk:Deafness). John P.
