Image of the Municipality building[edit]

@Ymblanter: This image File:Dimovo Municipality - 2.jpg is way more relevant that this one File:E79_in_Dimovo.jpg for the following reasons:

  • This article is about the administrative unit Dimovo Municipality, hence not (only) about the town. Hence, a photo of the building where the Municipality's administration is located seems to me much more relevant than a random street view from the town (even though, the town's central street, as in this case).
  • There is an obvious discrepancy between the file ame and the file caption: which road is this, after all, E78 or E79? Once clarified, this image can be included in the article about the town, or about the road, or even nested in some of the sections of this article about the municipality, but why in the infobox, given that we have already a photo of the Municipality itself?
  • I understand that the image is yours and you want to defend its usage, but please take into consideration what would be more informative for the reader, potentially one who is there in the town and *looking* to find the Municipality? Let's think of the readers' interest! :)

If Dimovo as a topic is so close to your heart, I also encourage you to have a look at the c:Category:Dimovo, wheere I just uploaded 14 new photos made a couple of weeks ago, which may further contribute to the better coverage of this topic in Wikipedia, and not only in English. I hope that I have managed to convince you about the photo discussed, and now you will kindly return it into the article. :) Bests, Spiritia 17:59, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

First, it is indeed my photo and the quality is superior that what you wanted to replace it with. Additionally, I disagree with the argument that the infobox photo should show the administration. You can easily see that most of our articles on administrative divisions do not. From your argument, it kind of follows that the article is about the administration building, and whereas this might be the case in Bulgarian, this is definitely not the case in English. The infobox photo should show a typical landscape of the municipality, and my photo does. If your concern is the location, the photo has coordinates of the point it was taken.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:10, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Btw @Spiritia:, I am not sure whether you are familiar with the notion of the Freedom of Panorama, but unfortunately some of the photos you uploaded are not free for this reason and should be deleted.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:13, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
