strange opinion about usage?[edit]

I question this phrase in the article: "In classical music, the term is most often used for a composition for two singers or pianists." I don't think reality supports this; it seems like an unsourced opinion. The term is used for a composition for any two performers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.225.40.204 (talk) 05:23, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Agreed. Perhaps it could be expanded into an article detailing different types of duet, so this bit became "Duets in music". That should help with its stub status. --Muna (talk) 17:33, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
