Canada's Royal Family

[edit]

I've researched Eaton's fairly extensively, and I do not recall them regularly (or even infrequently) being called Canada's Royal Family. Obviously, there is the title of the McQueen book, but all that proves is that he decided to call them that. We need a source that shows that they were referred to as such with some regularity (i.e. not just some fawning newspaper article from 1963), otherwise I will remove the reference. I have no doubt that they could have been referred to by that name -- we just need some proof that it was a common monicker, so as to justify including it in the article lead.Skeezix1000 21:59, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just to add, I will double check the McQueen book when I have the chance, to determine if the phrase was something he came up with, or if he attributes it to others. Skeezix1000 12:41, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
