Improving Wikipedia by adding known famous oboists. Please don't delete it. From the Wikipedia:Notability page, "A topic is presumed to be notable if it has received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject." There has been an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (see link on page) which meets this criteria. Tmartin.usa 06:28, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm not 100% sure about how notable she is, also the source that you listed requires registration, which is not allowed under the external links policy. I'm going to do some more research about it. --HAL2008 talk 06:35, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Added more links for your "research"... Tmartin.usa 06:42, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! That was really helpful, not just for me, but for everyone (the sysops) in determining whether the article was worthy for a speedy delete, and it was not. Sorry for the trouble, and thanks! --HAL2008 talk 15:20, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You know, this all sounds like it was written from the point of view of a friend of hers. Is it really relevant that she eats all vegetables? Is it really relevant that she was appointed at the age of 21? Perhaps this oboe player will be important some day, but the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is not the New York Philharmonic or the Concertgebouw. This article makes the point that Elizabeth is like Elaine Douvas, but contains far more personal information than Ms. Douvas' page. It might be a more worthy article if it only discussed her professional accomplishments, but, then again, it might also be deleted due to its brevity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.73.7.72 (talk) 04:57, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Along with a radio performance of the ASO playing tonight, Koch was interviewed. She said that a friend of hers made stuff up for the article, specifically including the raw vegetable nonsense and the tae kwon doe bit. I've deleted it. LadyofShalott 03:29, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
