Hi,Why are additional edits with verifiable sources continously deleted from this page with extended protections made every time edits are attempted? There are users who have an interest in maintaining the current edit which is negative, inaccurate and diminished in several areas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LegallyWiki87 (talkcontribs) 17:33, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Addition to 'Personal Life' Section[edit]

Hi all,

I am employed by Global University Systems (GUS) - the company that owns the University of Law (ULaw); my Conflict of Interest (please see my Talk Page for all COIs).

I am requesting that the following sentence be added to the 'Personal Life Section' after the sentence 'She subsequently went to study Law at Brunel University, where she graduated with a First class degree in 2008':

"Aluko also completed the accelerated Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law at its Moorgate campus."[1]

Could a link be added on the 'University of Law' wording to link to the Wikipedia page?

All advice and insights from Editors is appreciated. Thanks MsAttempt (talk) 12:11, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The source for the Legal Cheek article regarding the LPC claim is unknown, but it appears that at least some other of the information reported in that article was sourced to the subject's LinkedIn page. I think a better source should be provided, such as something from the institution itself, since the claim concerns them. Also, references need to be formatted using whichever style the article uses — the proposed reference in this request does not use the Aluko article's style, which is WP:CS1. Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 26 May 2020[edit]

There are a host of changes that need to be made to this page to correct lies, negative editing and malicious falsehood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Apokaradokia (talkcontribs) 01:45, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Apokaradokia: Hi, you're going to need to list each contentious piece of text for it to be addressed on an individual basis; if the information is faithfully verifiable from what is considered to be a reliable source but you do not have an equivalent to reinforce your version, you will need to take up the matter with the publisher of that source, as Wikipedia should only be reproducing content that has been professionally approved elsewhere.
The addition of false and defamatory information, particularly on biographies of living persons, is taken seriously by the organisation and by individual editors and instances of such, whenever observed, will be removed whenever appropriate. However, negative comments are admissable when they are referenced and do not unfairly predominate, and as stated above, an alternative source will need to be provided in many cases; simply stating "I'm Eni/her assistant, this is wrong/negative, take it down" is not sufficient. Please see the linked terms for details of the policies relating to each.
Just to confirm, I am not a Wikipedia representative or even an administrator, just an editor who 'watches' the page (my input to its content has been minimal, can't even remember anything I changed on it - although this would be in the editing history along with all the others) attempting to provide some guidance for this situation. I hope you can find agreement with editors on the content of the page to your satisfaction, although it may never be exactly as you would like. Thanks. Crowsus (talk) 11:53, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request [grammar][edit]

In the section titled "controversy" there is a grammatical error. I believe it should say "removed most, but not all" JustLucas (they/them) (talk) 18:44, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it sounded wrong; I have now reworded the sentence slightly differently, please have a look. Crowsus (talk) 19:39, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I think your wording looks fine :) ~~
