A bit more notable than this stub would suggest[edit]

As a colonel, he was some kind of liaison officer between Haig and Ferdinand Foch (then commanding French Army Group North and specifically tasked with maintaining friendly relations with the British) in 1915-16. I am digesting the late Elizabeth Greenhalgh's Foch biog at the moment. Dillon left a diary which she uses as a primary source. I leave this one out there for the moment in case some drive-by busybody decides that a brigadier and Irish peer is non-notable. Paulturtle (talk) 19:47, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
