Founder[edit]

I was in the second cohort of Extreme Blue and I don't remember Jane Harper being considered the founder of it (though it was 20+ years ago). The names I remember are David Grossman as the technical "lead", John Patrick as being the IBM executive who took ownership of it, and Karen Picone who perhaps was the original PM (At least that's what I'd call her role as I remember it, but as I said 20+ years ago).

It's possible that Jane Harper was more involved with the almaden site and the program as a whole as it grew (and left the boston site), but my memory of the people considered founders of it then were grossman and patrick.

found this archived article http://www.yucs.org/~spotter/eb.html that seems to correspond to my memories.

Untitled[edit]

Isn't it typically spelled "Extreme Blue" (space in the middle)?

A mention of the program slogan "Start something big" might also be helpful.
