maybe this artivle should be renamed to Floods in the Low Countries because of:

- same flood-history

- difficult to make a sub-division, especially for the region around the Westerschelde and the Zwin

- problems due to historical names

Well, "The Netherlands" can also refer the the historic region of the Netherlands, identical to the Low Countries. So that would solve the first two of your problems. However it is indeed ambiguous.--MWAK 10:50, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
