- actually its called Fontainebleau, without the U and with the E --74.233.162.183 (talk) 15:50, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- No, the US Census Bureau says Fountainbleau. WhisperToMe (talk) 05:30, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- Also the US Post Office and other official sources spell it Fountainbleau. I have replaced all the misspellings. Myron (talk) 12:45, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

The 2010 Census includes the E (Fountainebleau). Street signs say Fontainebleau Boulevard (note the missing U). Decorative signs in the middle of this road and 97th Avenue say 'Welcome to Fontainebleau'. The county also spells it Fontainebleau (compare to searches with alternate spellings). On the other hand, one of the neighborhoods is called Fountainbleau Lakes. I think it's clear that the place as a whole is Fontainebleau, especially given the "on the ground" evidence in the form of signs. --NE2 19:26, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
- Also, from the 2000 census: "Fontainebleau CDP in Kendale Lakes-Lindgren Acres and North Westside CCDs, Miami-Dade County, is shown incorrectly as Fountainbleau in the tables and the Geographic Change Notes." --NE2 14:39, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
