Is there some reason for this article to exist? I notice it has been deleted once before. It seems that there is nothing that couldn't be merged into Konkani languages. This stub is nothing but a definition. Bhny (talk) 04:03, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It should not be a redirect to Konkani language, because it explains to the reader two different meanings of the title. Should it be a disambiguation page? The Discoverer (talk) 04:33, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I just found that the first and second section are entirely duplicated in Konkani languages, so it is redundant to have them here again. A disambig page links to articles with the same title, so there'd only be one link. Bhny (talk) 05:00, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The text was added to Konkani language in this revision. I made Goan Konkani a separate section as it is not appropriate to keep it under dialects, because it has its own language code, and is actually comprises several dialects. So if you are keen on making it a redirect, you could redirect it to Konkani language#Goan Konkani. My concern is that if this section heading is removed, people who get redirected will get lost in the maze that the article is.The Discoverer (talk) 20:33, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
