} I really can't find a lot of information on this area. Google just turns up textbooks from the 1800s and my current textbooks do little more than mention its existence. If anyone knows more, please add! mcain (talk) 23:38, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dorsal Grey commissure vs Grey commissure?[edit]

I came to this article from a reference to the Dorsal Grey commissure, but the images suggest pretty clearly that it does surround the central canal both dorsally and ventrally, so is the nomenclature at the reference I came from likely to be wrong, although the site is otherwise very informative? It said, "The two “wings” of the butterfly are connected across the midline by the dorsal gray commissure and below the white commissure." And their phrase, "...and below the white commissure." doesn't make too much sense to me, looks like it should be something like, '...and there is a white commissure ventral to that & just before the anterior median fissure.' (I realize that that statement is there & not here & therefore can't be changed here.)
