Hull thickness[edit]

The comment in the introduction about the thicker armor apparently needs a verification. The hulls were sub-contracted to General Steel, which also made hull castings for American-produced M4s. It is unlikely that they had two molds. Further, I went last week to a Grizzly with an ultrasonic thickness gauge, and the front casting averaged 2.1" all the way up, which isn't unreasonable variance for a 2" casting.64.201.252.170 (talk) 19:23, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
