Navy Life.[edit]

I'm surprised no mention is made of his time in the Navy during World War II. My father used to be a fan of Gus' and mentioned he was a member of the ship's band on the U.S.S. Shangri-La (CV-38) in 1944/45. The only mention I've found of it is here.[1] Traumatic (talk) 15:41, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
