Redirect[edit]

I have moved back the redirect from Hang Seng Bank to Hang Seng Index for the following reasons:

The change on Aug 15, 2007 was done without discussion.
Try to search "Hang Seng" at a non-HongKong-based search engine (e.g. US Yahoo!). The first result is HSI Services Ltd (the organisation that operates the Hang Seng Index), not the bank. I'd agree that most Hong Kong people would first refer to the bank, rather than the stock index, when talking about "Hang Seng". However, we should have a global view when we give names to articles in WP. Please note that Hang Seng Bank is merely a local bank, while Hang Seng Index is the indicator of one of the most important stock markets in the world. We may predict that people outside Hong Kong would first refer to the stock index when talking about "Hang Seng".
