Untrue[edit]

Parts of Helen's autobiography seem to be untrue. The friend with a divorced mother and the sniffing dog seem to be non-existent.

Date misalignment ?[edit]

How can HFs Autobiography be in resonse to critics' views on her novels when it appears to have been published before any of her fiction ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.43.48.142 (talk) 14:38, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A novel is wrongly dated to 1959 in the obituary in the Daily Telegraph. It seems to have been published much later. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.42.37 (talk) 17:31, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is usually dated to 1985. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.42.37 (talk) 17:33, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Parts of her autobiography are untrue anyway, as noted above. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.42.37 (talk) 17:35, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
