Was Picker a "stenographer"? The text confuses him with the stenographers present at Hitler's situation conferences, who were actual professional stenographers from the Reichstag. Picker's predecessor Heinrich Heim also used stenography, while Picker only made brief notes (and transcribed Heim's stenograms).
