His first published song 'New York Times' was in 1928.

The last movie in pre-war Poland with his music was 'Sportowiec mimo woli' (1939 - no premiere in Poland).

The first movie with his music in America was (before he composed the music for 'Flipper') a western 'The Seven Men From Now' (John Wayne Productions, 1954).
