In Canada its not uncommon for NA to only refer to Canada and the United States, that is the meaning I used here. - SimonP 06:37, Sep 25, 2004 (UTC)

Including California, but excluding Baja California is arbitrary and artificial. Also, calling British Columbia and Yukon Territory as American states is somewhat provacative, and likely to be disputed as factually inaccurate.
