Requested edit[edit]

I'd like to make several changes to the page to bring it into compliance with Wikipedia's terms but as an employee for the company wanted another editor to look through and approve the changes.

Homes.com, Inc., a subsidiary of Dominion Enterprises, is the third-largest real estate portal by traffic market share
==>
Homes.com, Inc., a subsidiary of Dominion Enterprises, is the fifth-largest real estate portal by traffic market share
The currently cited page accurately reflects this.

In June 2017,Homes.com announced that UtahRealEstate.com will join Homes.com’s MLS Partnership Program.[11]
Remove entirely, looks like this was added by a digital marketing team overseas. I'm guessing it was link building for UtahRealEstate.com because these folks (the marketers) are not affiliated with Homes.com. While the UtahRealEstate.com MLS did join Homes.com data set, it is one of ~ 600 and not relevant IMHO.

Through either Android or IOS mobile devices, Homes.com Mobile Applications afford consumers the ability to search for listings in any area and filter results based on personalized criteria, such as price and the number of bedrooms. GPS search functionality gives users the ability to search for nearby property listings.

Current text sounds like marketing fluff and IMHO doesn't really add to the article.

The "Powered by Homes.com" offers product media partners the ability to integrate real estate listings into their sites at no charge. Partners can incorporate their display advertising network into the pages to generate revenue and maintain control of the overall appearance of the pages.[15]
Remove entirely, service is no longer offered.

  Edit request partially implemented

  1. Red XN The claim regarding the "largest real estate portal by traffic market share" was kept at fifth place, as that is what the source says.
  2. Green tickY The Consumer products section was omitted and its remaining contents subsumed under a new Products heading.
  3. Green tickY The "Powered by Homes.com" claim was omitted.

Thanks! I was the one requesting the page be updated to say "fifth place" instead of third. I believe MarioGom made the requested correction. My intent truly was to make the article more accurate and in line with wikipedia terms. Thanks again Dhoegerm (talk) 13:17, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
