2 Deaths in NIcaragua[edit]

About the 2 deaths caused by the rains, taking reference of an article of El Nuevo Diario.

In English: Wednesday's rains left two fatalities, one carried by the currents in Managua and one by electrocution in Catarina, while the weather forecast considers that the rains will continue in the last hours.

In English: According to the meteorologist, Ms. Marta Castillo, the phenomenon is not related to Hurricane Barbara, that made landfall in México and has lost strenght. Therefore, the normal rainfall of the rainy season. "It is by an influence of an intertropical convergence zone which is on the Pacific Ocean area, so surely we could have rainfall occurrence" So these deaths are not related of Barbara, because the rains were caused by an Intertropical Convergence Zone. -- Byralaal - (talk!) 17:29, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for bringing this up. I've removed them from the article. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 17:32, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

Since Barbara and Andrea are two parts of the same storm, or a redevelopment of each other, I propose that Hurricane Barbara (2013) be merged with Tropical Storm Andrea (2013) into the single article Hurricane Barbara/Tropical Storm Andrea. I believe that since they are two parts of the same storm, the meteorological history between the two storm can be better explained. ˜˜˜˜

"I believe they are the two parts of the same storm" is not backed up by anything. The two storms have different designations, and the only real link is that ex-Barbara was absorbed into the monsoon trough that spawned Andrea. YE Pacific Hurricane 17:03, 9 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
