From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He has translated so many other books from pahlavi to arabic like HEZAR AFSANEH or the same One Thousand and One Nights ,why haven't you written anything about it? neither here nor in persian text or even in the text about One Thousand and One Nights which has been written a wrong name for the translator!?

"The later compiler and translator into Arabic is reputedly storyteller Abu abd-Allah Muhammed el-Gahshigar in the 9th century"

WHY, Are you sure it is a free encyclopedia? or maybe it is a related one?

Iranica Claim[edit]

I have been reading up on the emergence of New Persian, and I found the following claim on Iranica:" Most valuable information about this is provided by the Iranian-born Arab polymath Ebn al-Moqaffaʿ (721-57), as transmitted in the 10th-century Ebn al-Nadim’s Fehrest." Is the ethnicity of Ibn Almuqaffa disputed, or is this a silly mistake by the writer of this article? I thought Iranica was reliable tbh. Hiesen2 (talk) 17:17, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
